The center of this unique piece is a Sankofa bird. The adinkra symbol means" go back to the past and bring forward that which is useful." The bird is rendered as twisting its beak behind itself, in order to bring forth an egg from its back. It is beaded with glass, stone and African brass Sankofa. The bracelet is 7 1/4 inches long. Remember stretch bracelets should be rolled on. The brass pendant is handmade (not machine made) using the lost wax technique, please excuse the natural imperfections.
